Not Just Another Wedding Blog

It was great to learn that Pixel & Ink (originally WedShare*Daily) was finally ready to launch, and even better to find out that my first post was also to be the first of the entire blog, period! Talk about pressure.

My book, "e-Plan Your Wedding"

"e-Plan Your Wedding"

I’ve been excited about this project from the discussion phase. Of all the fantastic wedding blogs out there, few have made their core focus specifically on online and technical planning resources. With so much available today for engaged couples to take advantage of–and so much more becoming available all the time–engaged couples need an up-to-date guide to the new and exciting ways they can save time and money in their planning, using all the best resources they can get now. I was lucky to co-author the book e-Plan Your Wedding: How to Save Time and Money with Today’s Best Online Resources for this purpose, and I feel that a dynamic online publication like Pixel & Ink can be even more effective to that end.

I’m a bit of a geek, and I admit it. So I’m happy to do the dirty work finding, presenting, and reviewing the latest cool tools out there for you, the engaged couple. And if you’re more into colors than coding, we’ve got stuff for you, too: just wait until you see some of the inspirational collages we have on the cutting board. Plus, a group of select soon-to-be-weds have kindly volunteered to give you a taste of their own experiences with wedding vendors, budgets, and the planning adventure as they see it. As Pixel & Ink moves past its infancy stage, I’m told that we expect to bring on additional contributors and wedding professionals to give you even more tips, topics, and advice. So enjoy, visit again, visit often, and feel free to post your thoughts and comments for discussion.
