A Peacock Wedding in White and Pink

My inspiration today is from one of our readers who suggested incorporating pink tones into a peacock wedding theme. Instead of the usual blues and purples for a typical peacock theme, why not change the palette to include your favorite color? I love the idea of having a white and pink peacock wedding using pink-toned fabrics for your bridal party attire, pink and white feathers in bouquets, centerpieces or other decorations, a pink peacock on your wedding stationery, and a wandering albino peacock at your reception site!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this, but my fiance was more wanting the blues and greens incorporated into it too. That is where I’m having the problems. Do you think I could use the jewel tone colors and have a deep pink in the scheme?? Any thoughts or suggestions on that type of idea?

What? Your fiance isn’t down for pink? LOL. It’s true, pink’s not the color that jumps to mind for most of us guys when deciding on a color scheme for anything we’re a part of. But I think pink would work nicely as just an accent with blue and green being the dominant colors. Incorporate subtly in the details, but…sparingly. For his sake.

Thanks for using my photo of my centerpiece. They were done by Parsonage Events in Clarkston,MI and were even more beautiful in person!

Just wondering how i would go about hiring a peacock for my reception site? It is so elegant and my theme for my wedding is The Secret Garden.
