A Farm-To-Table Wedding

I want to share this beautiful farm-to-table wedding shoot captured by the talented Tec Petaja Photography. This rustic farm wedding was featured on one of my favorite blogs, Once Wed, who was involved in this stylized photo session. I love how everything was kept very simple and natural in the outdoor setting of the lovely Watermelon Moon Farm in Nashville. The cute farm animals roaming the grounds, the use of hand-picked flowers for the bouquet, and organic veggies for the table centerpieces are such special treats for your guests!

For a farm-to-table wedding, make sure to use local vendors in the farm’s community and incorporate freshly-picked, in-season ingredients for your menu, preferably straight from the actual farm you’re having your wedding at. Make sure nothing goes to waste; food scraps can always go back to feed the farm’s pigs or to a compost bin. Use regional products for as many details in your wedding as possible to give back to the local community.
