{E-Session} Nic + Ashley’s Mexican Revolution Engagement

Happy Mexican Independence Day Everyone!

Today Mexico is celebrating its very special Bicentennial of Independence from Spanish rule 200 years ago in 1810, and also its Centennial of the Mexican Revolution 100 years ago in 1910.

I thought it was only appropriate to share with you Nic & Ashley’s unique and creative Mexican Revolution-themed engagement session. Since Nic has family that were part of the Pancho Villa crew, this was a great way to pay homage to his family history. Francisco Villa, best known as Pancho Villa, was one of the most prominent revolutionary generals in Northern Mexico during the Mexican revolution from 1910 to about 1920. He is considered to be one of Mexico’s most popular folk heroes.

Thanks to the talented Justin Lee from Justin Lee Photography for sharing this wonderfully inventive photo session with us. I absolutely love it! Be sure to check out Justin Lee’s Photography Blog for more amazing work!
